Ship in 3 steps

Most teams are live in under 5 minutes after the source is in their Next.js app.

1. Add the Tracking Component

Paste one component into your app layout and you are live.

2. Connect Stripe (Optional)

Drop in your Stripe keys to unlock revenue and MRR insights.

3. Open the Dashboard

See real-time sessions and trends instantly.

Tracking component

Place the included tracking component in the root layout so each page can report a session:

import { TrackingComponent } from "@/components/data-lighthouse/tracking-component"

export default function RootLayout({ children }) {
  return (
    <html>
      <body>
        <TrackingComponent />
        {children}
      </body>
    </html>
  )
}

Optional Stripe revenue

Revenue charts read STRIPE_SECRET_KEY from the environment of the app you deploy. Checkout for this template uses Polar on datalighthouse.dev. Stripe is only the optional revenue source inside your dashboard.

After you pay

  1. Sign in with GitHub on the checkout page so the purchase can be matched to an account.
  2. Pay $59 once on Polar.
  3. Accept the GitHub collaborator invite and clone the private template repository.
